    November 2011 Newsletter:

Lots of new things are happening.

It took until the end of this year to be ready to jump into some new and exciting things, but I am finally here.  I was unable to paint for a few months while my broken arm healed, but I am back and having fun with some very new products.

I am also working on a new store that will be on my website.  Sorry for the chaos while the transition happens.  I still have items on my Etsy store (www.animalcoin.etsy.com), but those will be moved over the next couple of weeks to the one at www.AnimalCoin.com.  The new store will allow more shopping features, includes the choice of using Paypal or Google Checkout to process your order.  I will also be able to offer coupons to use on the site, so each future newsletter is going to include a coupon for just those on my mailing list.

On the jewelry front, I have started painting the USA 50 State Quarter series. I decided they are fun, and a lot of people are interested in them.  Even better, the coins are very available so I can offer them at a very reasonable price.... only $30 for a pendant, and an additional $5 for an optional chain.  So, watch my new store to see them appearing as they are completed.

If you have a particular state you want to see, just let me know.  It might take a while to get all 50 states painted so a nudge on your favorite is a smart move.  I have also purchased some National Parks Quarters.  Yes, purchased.  I learned very quickly that the coin jewelry looks much nicer if I get the best quality of coin I can.  So, I have been buying them from a coin dealer so they are "fresh" from a coin roll, and have a nice clean and clear strike.  It is well worth it, they are turning out beautiful.

I just received an order of coins from Latvia.  I find coin dealers in far away places too.  I have just started painting them, but I am excited because they have a very cute Christmas Tree design on them.  I also ordered some with snowmen...  I am making them into pins so you can wear them on your coat, clothing, or even a hat.  They should be really fun to wear this holiday season.  I should have them on my website by the Thanksgiving weekend, and will have them at the two remaining local shows I am doing.
