I have the most adorable litter of foster kittens, but they are now old enough to be adopted. The litter includes Princess, Pumpkin, Baby & Squeakers. I got them at 3 weeks old while they still needed to be bottle fed, and they are now 10 weeks old.
It has been a long wait for kittens. The last kitten I fostered, in 2018, had a virus that is very lethal to kittens. He made it and I ended up adopting him, but my house was "contaminated" and I couldn't foster for a year.
So, it is quite exciting to be able to foster again. I feel so lucky to start with this litter of four healthly, sweet kittens. They are about 3 weeks old, so will be bottle fed for a short while. I like to give them my own names since their time with me is temporary, and so I have named them Pumpkin, Squeakers, Princess, and Baby.
Pumpkin & Squeakers are the two orange tabby kittens. Pumpkin is the perfect name for the biggest kitten in the litter who is orange and besides, I started fostering him in October. Squeakers is called that because that is what his meow sounds like. He talks often, but not too much comes out of his mouth, except a squeak!
Baby is a gray tabby with shorter hair than the rest. She is not the smallest kitten, but wants to be treated like a baby & fed often. The name stuck. Princess, also a gray tabby, is the smallest of the bunch and already has the cat princess thing going. She is so pretty, I am sure she will be using that ploy her entire life!
Check back again, I will post more photos as this little family grows up.
